During the healing progress, it happened that the color of the tattoo partially faded away to the extent that some areas of the skin may even get damaged. One who follows tattooed skin aftercare instructions poorly, sooner or later will not be happy about it.

Even in the case where the visual look of the tattoo looks healed, the natural protective skin barrier recovery period continues for another three to four weeks.Įvery shop has its own recommended care methods. Natural tattooed skin healing process usually takes 7-28 days.
It is not advisable to do sports, sunbath or swim after tattooing. It usually takes two weeks to “heal,” although it takes longer for the skin to fully regenerate. Just stay calm and relax! HOW LONG DOES A TATTOO TAKE TO HEAL AND WHAT SHOULD I DO AFTER? Speaking from experience, most of our clients scare themselves too much before coming in, and they always go “Oh, this is not that bad” afterwards. To be honest, yes, but it is totally bearable! Some of our artist are not accepting walk-ins and they are usually booked a few weeks in advance. Yes, if you do not have a prefer artist, you are very welcome to do a walk-in section. We always plan enough time, so please make sure what do you want to get instead of changing the whole concept of the tattoo when you come in the studio. If necessary, the artist will edit the design for you, until you are satisfied. Your artist would be showing you the sketch on the day of appointment date and will work with you on the design at your appointment time before tattooing. We’re always more than happy to help get you the information you need. You are also welcome to come into the shop and talk to one of our managers or artists, if they’re available. In order for us to quote your idea, we need to consider the subject, size, placement on the body, detail, colors, etc. The best way to get an accurate price range is by booking a (free!) consultation with the artist - if not in person, then through a brief detailed email which we prefer the most. Final price is dependent on size, detail of the design, colors and which artist you’ve chosen. It depends on the artist, our minimum charge is $80 per person. Not only must you be 18, you have to prove it with a valid State or Federal Photo ID. In accordance with this law we have a strict NO MINORS POLICY. It is against California Law to tattoo a minor, even with parental consent. Note: Our artists are located in three locations, some do not travel between the three studios.
